My grandmother passed away today. She was an incredibly beautiful lady inside and out. I hope in my old age I become as serene and loving as she was throughout her life. I miss her.

Sorry to hear. Something changes when our grandparents pass on and we realize that we will be in that same spot in the not too distant future. I still remember my grandpa and it's been almost 20 years. It just seems like he has gone to the corner store and just hasn't come back yet.
May you find comfort in the love you had for her....

I'm sorry. I wish I could say something not trite. But know that good thoughts are coming your way, and hers.

I am sure that your Grandmother would really be pleased to know that you want to be like her. She would probably feel she accomplished her goals in life with that wish of yours...that definitely is a tribute to her..a life well-lived.

Sorry to hear about your loss of your grandmother.I remember an incident when my father was dying.
Dad was undergoing gamma knife treatement for brain tumors. At first it seemed that he had 1 tumor but while undergoing the gamma knife treatment 7 tumors showed up.the whole treatment that was supposed to take 3-4 hours ended up taking 12 hours.13 years later I still remember how kind and caring that nurse was even after such long hours. When I have to stay late and do overtime at the dialysis unit I always remeber that nurse and treat my patients extra kindly. I did write that nurse a note thanking her for Dad's care after he had died.I wish every nurse woulod treat patient with the kindness that would want their parents treated.
